When you’re single we all have a pre-occupation with looking for the right guy to get to know, have fun with and finally settle down and have children with. So here is some feedback from guys who have been won over by beautiful women like us!
“She Won Me Over When…”
When it comes to getting a guy’s attention, it’s no secret that cute clothes and killer confidence are the way to go. Winning him over, however, can be the tricky part—sometimes it takes a little something extra. We consulted some guys about the magic moves that hooked them. Copying some of these moves may help or hinder your relationship. Good Luck. Try them at your own risk!
“My girlfriend and I met while playing intermural softball. One day, I gunned the ball over to her a little too hard and ended up breaking her ring finger. It would’ve been easy for her to play the blame game in that situation, but she really toughed it out. I found a first aid kit, tended to her hand, and we soon ended up kissing. I knew she was special, a girl chill enough to kiss the guy who’d just broken her finger, and her reaction really clued me into how she would handle crappy situations in the future.”
“One girl I was seeing had heard me mention that ‘Landslide’ was one of my favorite songs because it reminded me of my mother, who loved it. After we’d been hanging out for a week, I invited her out to a karaoke bar with some friends for drinks. She surprised me big-time when she hopped up on stage and began to belt out ‘Landslide’—a total knock-out performance. I swear guys in the crowd cried. I fell head over heels for her at that point.”
“There was a time when I was stuck in bed at the hospital for almost four hours while being treated for swine flu. I had nothing to do but read texts in my phone. As I was looking back over all of the ones I’d gotten from my girlfriend, it really hit me what a caring person she is. She even paid me a visit when I was quarantined off in my bedroom. That was when I realized she had me for a lifetime.” —Akash R.
“One time, in the beginning stages of seeing my now-girlfriend, we were hanging out at her house when she had to disappear to take a work call. When she finally emerged from the other room, she just started dancing—to nothing. Just dancing. It was…awesome.”
“I was smitten when a girl I started seeing took me to a Russian neighborhood and not only ordered fried varenyky from a woman selling them on the street, but spoke to her in Russian and translated to me what the options were. It was really attractive that she’d choose an unconventional place like that for a date, and was able to hold her own there.”—Josh F.
“This girl I was seeing stayed overnight at my place for the first time. The next day we both had work to do, so we decided to hang out with each other while we did it. Just after I sat down with my computer, she emerged from the shower wearing a tank top and a pair of my boxer shorts, smelling like soap and shampoo. She sat next to me on the couch, pen and notebook in hand, draped her legs across my lap, and started working. So effing sexy.”
“My now-girlfriend and I were dancing at a birthday party a few years back. I’m not the best dancer in the world by any means, and I can spend a lot of the time worrying about how my moves look. But instead of being weirded out by my goofy dance moves, she actually started copying them. Since we were both doing it, I felt totally comfortable and had a great time.”
“She initiated our first kiss because she was tired of waiting for me to do it.” —Gabriel A.
“She came out to see a band she’d never heard of, only on my suggestion, with all of my friends, and completely got down and had a great time. That was pretty sexy.” —George B.
“She had me hooked when she proved she could be every bit as goofy as I am. In one night, we had a conversation in terrible English accents, danced and jumped on the bed like little kids for hours, and shared jokes, cracking up the whole time. There’s something about a girl who’s 100 percent willing to be a total goofball that makes her that much hotter!”
“She sat across from me and played ‘Collide’ by Howie Day acoustically on my guitar. It that made me melt and still gives me chills just thinking about it.” —Jonathan M.
“When my girlfriend and I first started hanging out, one of the major turning points was watching her down a pint of beer quicker than me, then go up for another right away. She was completely comfortable being herself in front of anyone.” —Matt S.
“She actually came straight up to me in a bar. What really got my attention was her venturing over to me while I was with a group of friends and simply tapping me on my shoulder and introducing herself. She just kept it basic and direct. She was so cute and irresistible that I couldn’t help but chat her up.” —Adam T.
