As we discussed previously, as a woman I am very concerned about my skin particularly my facial skin. We have all heard the saying “You are what you eat”. For our beauty this is very true. Eating the wrong foods will damage your skin and make you look much older than your years.

Night Moisturising – Hot Tip

Only moisturize under your eyes and on your “challenging parts” (those with excess wrinkles) at NIGHT. During the night, your body is in detox mode, and unless your diet plan is 100% solid, your liver has enough work on its hands.

Instead, moisturize at least once a day, first thing in the morning after your shower/bath. Then, if you can sneak in another session early evening, fantastic! (more…)

But one in particular has recently made headlines because it has been found in hair salon straightening products, called formaldehyde. Formaldehyde is a colorless gas that, at room temperature, emits a noxious odor. Health specialists believe it can cause cancer, allergies and disrupt the immune system. 1.  Adequate Sunscreen. Sunscreen doesn’t allow you to stay out in the sun all day, however it does help reduce how fast you’ll get burnt. The Cancer Societies say most people don’t apply adequate amount of sunscreen, nor frequently enough. The right amount is a teaspoon of sunscreen for each arm, leg, back and torso.
